Personal Performance Coaching
Coaching is not the same as training! Rather than teaching or instructing, it unlocks a person’s potential to recognise their own power and ability to achieve goals. Coaching can focus on any aspect of a person’s life in assisting personal growth, focusing on the future, not the past.
Performance coaching seeks to remove the barriers that prevent individuals from taking on and delivering against personal or work-related goals. Through asking powerful and open questions, active listening and encouraging reflection our coach gives the individual a space in which to envision their own solutions. More than a mere technique, at Beyond the Board our models of coaching are grounded in established adult learning and psychological approaches.
During a performance coaching session you will:
Outline the goals you seek to achieve;
Explore and pre-empt possible obstacles;
Identify your own strengths and how they can be used to progress your goals;
Build your self-belief and a commitment to action.
Our coaching psychologist has both EMCC and IAFPD qualifications, approved by the British Psychological Society, and an ILM Certificate in Leadership and Management through King's College London.
